First snowfall in Seoul...
So yesterday I went with Amy to our "Kimchi" Saturday Korean language meeting, which was pretty nifty as usual. Then we went out to eat with some of the folks from the group.
Then we met up with a bunch of her friends from Wisconsin that are also teaching in Seoul. As we were walking around from place to place around Hongik, it started to snow. Yay. These flakes were huuge, and it soon started falling down pretty thick. It was really nice and pretty but it was quite cold.
To make matters worse, when it was time to catch a taxi home it was hooorrible. You would seriously see these masses of people in the middle of the streets trying to stop a taxi over and over, with no success. It was really weird since the taxis would slow down and then just jet away; you had to yell out where you were going as they went by, since they were all full. We seriously waited at least 20 or 30 minutes in the freeeezing cold, with our toes numb, until we finally were able to get a taxi.
It was sooo nice to finally be back in my nice, warm apartment.
word.
